This oil combines the nutritionally-dense ingredients of perilla seed, pumpkin seed, borage seed, and black seed. Perilla seed is one of nature’s richest sources of omega 3 fatty acid. Omega 3 and omega 6 are essential fatty acids, meaning they cannot be produced by the body but instead must come from diet or supplementation. This vegan oil provides omega 3 in the form of alpha linolenic acid (ALA) which contributes towards the maintenance of normal blood cholesterol levels, with omega 6 from gamma linolenic acid (GLA) and a small amount of omega 9. This nutritional oil is 95% organic and has been certified by the Soil Association.
